Leo, our standard poodle, is dead at the age of 10 years.

He was white and fluffy, had a tendency to eat tampons, glasses, and things made of leather, and slept a lot.

Over the past two weeks he got sicker and sicker, and at 4:45 pm today he died. My mother was wiping the foam from his mouth and I had just finished petting him. He was at home, lying on his blanket, in the presence of his family.

During his life he suffered a lot. He was rescued from a farm where they were going to shoot him, he endured baths and having the hair pulled from his ears, and his people were away all day.

He was a good dog, and we will miss him very much.

Dec. 18th, 2009 @ 11:22 pm Drabble: Turnabout 20/20
Title: Turnabout
Word count: 801
Status: COMPLETE
Continuity: Tranformers: Animated
Characters: Terrorsaur and Wasp
Summary: The beginning of the end? Or just a beginning?

Notes: Hi! I bet you guys thought I forgot about this story. Or I bet you guys forgot about it. Or something. In any case, it's FINISHED now, after long last.

I'm not so sure about the ending of it; I doesn't seem up to speed with the rest of the story or something. I guess that's what happens when you forget about a project for five months. But I kind of like it, too.

Happy Holidays to all!

And Wasp had come, in the end. )

Aw snap, classes are done. I might post my actionscript class final thought, it's kind of neat. It's pretty barebones 'cause I ran out of time. I was going to have quite a few things animate and play sound but I ran into a few hitches with some code, and spent a decent chunk of time sorting that out. I found a suitable work-around (utterly ham-fisted though!) so hopefully it'll net me some extra points.

I'll finally be able to take the 3D modeling course in January though. I'm psyched. I tried learning Maya on my own time through video tutorials but... When I tried to make a UV for my models it went to hell. No matter what I did it wouldn't work. On 3 different models. The UV just turned into a horrible jumble of lines when I was finished. I need help with this crap. There are also way more buttons than I know what to do with. :/

So uhm. Gel eyeliner? Where were you all my life? Homahgawd even super shaky hands cannot ruin its application. It's terrible when I try to use liquid eyeliner. The line usually turns out super wonky and uneven, and takes a long time to get it to look "right." I add quotations because I don't know how to apply makeup properly. Erm. Derp. With the gel stuff, I've got a little bent eyeliner brush and it paints on like I'm painting with acrylics. DO LUV.

In fact, Aromaleigh has a lot of epic makeup. I ordered a few things from there--little eyeshadow samples and whatnot--the week of Thanksgiving and got it like, 5 days later. Dunno if that was a fluke but it was AWESOMESPEEDYFAST. Gonna order again! I've tried two samples of their Rocks! eyeshadow and they're super bright and pigmented. I also found a foundation that actually matches my transparent, pasty-ass skin and doesn't crease up in all my face lines. Score! Plus they have weekly 25% off sales too. In fact, some stuff I've been eying was put on sale this week... Oh dear. MOAR PLZ!

Also scooped up some Halloween limited edition BPAL scents before they went down. Too good to pass up! I got Mircalla, Countess Karnstein and Hell-Gate of Ireland. Both are delightfully musky and delicious. I'm a sucker for sweet & musky or smoky scents. BPAL addiction might be coming back. FFFFFFFFFFFFFF

Aaaaaaaaaaaaand I'm going to go dye some fabric for jodhpurs now. EPIC WYNNE--I MEAN EPIC WIN. ilu dragon age :B
