Leo, our standard poodle, is dead at the age of 10 years.
He was white and fluffy, had a tendency to eat tampons, glasses, and things made of leather, and slept a lot.
Over the past two weeks he got sicker and sicker, and at 4:45 pm today he died. My mother was wiping the foam from his mouth and I had just finished petting him. He was at home, lying on his blanket, in the presence of his family.
During his life he suffered a lot. He was rescued from a farm where they were going to shoot him, he endured baths and having the hair pulled from his ears, and his people were away all day.
He was a good dog, and we will miss him very much. |
